Our mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for our children.
WHAT IS THE PTA?
Our Barry Elementary PTA is comprised of parents, family members, school administration, teachers, and community members who work together to enrich the school environment for students as well as the teachers and staff.
WHY JOIN THE PTA?
A great way to get involved with your child's education is to join our PTA. When you join the PTA, you join a community that encourages student achievement and enriches the learning environment. The PTA provides several events and fundraisers through the school year to get students, teachers, staff, and families more involved and engaged. The funds raised by the PTA directly benefit our school.
MEMBERSHIP AND INVOLVEMENT
All parents can volunteer for activities and attend meetings. If you would like to become a voting member, the cost to join is $10 per person. This fee covers the state and national PTA membership dues and directly benefits Barry Elementary students by providing funding for class field trips, classroom activities, school parties, and so much more!
PTA meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Barry Collaboration Room. We hope to see you there! There are no additional requirements for volunteering upon joining.

Additionally, information is shared in the weekly school newsletters and special event flyers are sent home with your student a few days prior to most activities.
