Hi, my name is Miss Jones and I am so excited to be apart of the Pirate Community at Barry Elementary. This will be my 5th year teaching, 3rd year in the Platte County School District. I taught previously in the Saint Joseph School District for 2 years. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education. I recently graduated from Northwest Missouri State with my Master's in K-12 Leadership. I am also the Assistant Women's Basketball coach at Platte Purchase Middle School.
I have lived in Kansas City my whole life. I grew up in the Park Hill School District and currently still live here. I enjoy being active, whether it be running, basketball, or pickleball. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my dog Elle. I am so excited to be joining the Pirate family and I especially excited to get to know you and your students! Let's have a great year!
