I am excited to be a part of the Platte County Pirate family and I love being a second grade teacher! When I am not at school I am a mom to four amazing children, Adalee, Ellie, Linley, and William. My wonderful husband, Bill and I enjoy watching our kids play sports, various outdoor activities, reading, and watching movies. William is currently serving in the United States Navy and has a son, Oliver. Linley is married and I have two granddaughters, Kollyns and Blake. Ellie is starting her freshman year of College and will be playing softball and wrestling for Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. Addie is a junior in high school. She enjoys playing softball, wrestling, and track. Most nights, you will find our family at the softball fields or at a wrestling match.

I have degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) and Park University in Elementary Education, Special Education: Cross Categorical Disabilities, and K-12 Reading Specialist. I began teaching first grade in 2003 and then moved to second grade in 2015.
