Hello! My name is Ms. Burtchell. As a former PCR-3 Pirate, I am so excited to be back! I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Secondary Social Science Education. While at NWMSU, I discovered my love for motivating people in achieving the goals that they set for themselves, and of course, history. As a history buff, combining my passions was an easy choice for me to make. There is nothing more that I love to do than to teach others while watching them exceed even their own expectations.
While I am not in the classroom, you can find me either on the couch reading a book or outside. I love spending time with my family and loved ones, which includes 2 cats, and many, many dogs. I love sarcasm and making jokes, and tend to find myself constantly laughing with others. While this is my first year teaching, I am beyond excited to make connections and memories while learning together!
