Blaire Zessin: “When people talk about what it means to truly
#BeBarry, they are talking about Blaire.” In just a few years at Barry Elementary, Blaire has become a trusted leader, advocate, and champion for students. From creating the student-run Barry’d Treasure Store and launching the Barry Bazaar to supporting students far beyond the classroom, Blaire leads with heart, innovation, and an unwavering belief in kids. One student shared, “I used to hate reading, but Ms. Zessin helped me so now I can read anything.” Her impact on students, staff, and families is felt throughout the Barry community every single day.
