Hello, and welcome to 7th grade science. I am your student’s teacher this year and am so excited for all that lies ahead. This is my 11th year in education and my 7th year here in Platte County. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education from Graceland University.

I am originally from West Palm Beach, Fl. I have lived in Kansas City since 2008 and love it. Ok, the winters are a little too long, but I do enjoy the seasons. When my husband and I arrived in KC, we had one infant. We now have 4 wonderful children in middle and high school. 

My philosophy when it comes to teaching and learning is that every child can learn and does so in their own way and time. I will work diligently to ensure your student has what they need to succeed at their level. I look forward to a wonderful year of exploration and adventure.
