I am excited to be teaching English as a Second Language at Barry this year. This is my third year teaching in the United States and 19th year in education. I previously taught for the Kansas City Public Schools district. Prior to moving to Kansas City, I had been teaching English in my home country, Ukraine. I graduated from Crimean University for the Humanities with Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Master of Arts degree in English.

I have a strong connection to the Barry family as both of my daughters attended Barry school after we moved from Ukraine. My oldest daughter Stefaniya graduated Platte County High School in 2021 and now she is a Sophomore at New Mexico State University. My youngest daughter Ivanna is a Senior at PCHS this year.
